  • We do not accept insurance, but instead offer a range of fees to help make our services more accessible; please reach out for our most up-to-date rates. If your health insurance has out-of-network benefits, we can provide Superbills for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to confirm your benefits, and how to access them.

  • Most of the treatments delivered at CABT are designed to be short-term, but the exact number of sessions depends on two main factors: the exact treatment protocol being used and how frequently clients complete the prescribed homework exercises. The scientifically-supported treatments we offer range typically range from as few as 8 sessions to as many as 35 sessions. You will be given more specific information about which treatment we recommend after you complete the initial evaluation.

  • Most of the treatments we deliver at CABT involve meeting individually with your therapist once per week for about 50 minutes. For some treatments, and depending on the needs of a specific client, we may suggest meeting more than once per week or meeting for a 90-minute session.

  • We offer in-person appointments at our office in Bryn Mawr, PA, as well as telehealth sessions for patients located within Pennsylvania.

  • We proudly serve patients from as young as 6 years old through adolescence, adulthood, and the elder years.

  • Some of our psychologists are PSYPACT credentialed and can provide telehealth services to patients in other PSYPACT participating states, which is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to discuss your specific situation if you are not located in PA.

  • The first step is to schedule a brief 15-minute phone call with a member of our Intake Team. You can get started by emailing newpatient@centerabt.com, calling (610) 455-5757, or completing our contact form.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a scientifically supported approach that helps people by focusing on present challenges rather than exploring the past. Unlike traditional talk therapy, CBT emphasizes building practical skills, practicing exercises, and learning through real-world application. It is an active, collaborative process where the therapist and client work together to overcome obstacles and create meaningful change.

  •  While the name can sound scary, exposure therapy is a form of CBT where therapists and clients team up to find ways to gradually and systematically confront anxiety to help clients feel less anxious, more confident, and more in control of their own lives. At CABT, all exposure therapy is done collaboratively, with a highly individualized plan to help each client successfully reclaim their lives from their anxiety.
