Drs. Tsao and DiChiara have extensive experience in treating OCD with a wide range of presentations, severity levels, and treatment settings. They draw on their own clinical work, as well as their long history of supervising and consulting with OCD therapists across the world, to infuse this workshop with a high level of expert knowledge and down-to-earth, practical suggestions for delivering high-quality ERP in diverse settings.

Dr. Tsao has extensive experience providing ERP in residential, day treatment, and outpatient settings as a part of large healthcare systems, academic medical centers, NIMH-funded studies, and group practices.

Christina DiChiara, PsyD

Dr. DiChiara has extensive experience providing ERP in large healthcare settings, academic medical centers, and group practices as well as working with the military population and coordinating NIMH-funded ERP studies.

This 3-day foundational training offers an in-depth introduction to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the only first-line psychotherapy for OCD, and includes 19.5 CEUs and four post-workshop group consultation sessions. Led by experts in the field, the program is designed to help clinicians learn everything they need to deliver this effective, evidence-based treatment for their patients with OCD. This training is appropriate for all licensed mental health professionals, or those working under the license of a mental health professional.

HALF-DAY VIRTUAL TRAINING: APPLYING ERP TO PEDIATRIC POPULATIONS

This half-day advanced training offers a deeper dive into applying Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) techniques to pediatric populations with OCD, from kids as young as 3, to older teens and college-age patients. Led by experts in the field, the program is designed to help clinicians who already have familiarity with ERP learn how to engage young clients, make developmental modifications to the traditional ERP treatment protocol, and work with caregivers more effectively. This training will not cover the basics of delivering ERP, and is designed to give providers that next level of nuance and skill in working with OCD in pediatric populations.

HALF-DAY VIRTUAL TRAINING: CONFIDENTLY IDENTIFY AND DIAGNOSE OCD

Join us for this half-day virtual workshop designed to help mental health professionals strengthen their ability to identify OCD and accurately assess symptom severity using the Y-BOCS©. Through a deep dive into the tool and its administration, participants will gain greater confidence in recognizing and evaluating OCD in clinical practice.

  • Online registration will close when the workshop reaches maximum capacity, so early registration is strongly encouraged. If the workshop is not completely filled, online registration will close  24 hours prior to the start of the workshop. Registration after this deadline may be possible, but must be directly coordinated with our staff. If you are interested in registering after the online deadline has closed, please inquire at workshops@centerabt.com.

    Please note that registration is not complete, and attendance is not guaranteed until full payment is received.

  • This workshop is virtual via zoom.

  • The cancellation deadline is two weeks prior to the workshop start date. Attendees who cancel before this deadline will receive a full refund, minus a processing fee determined by Stripe. Cancellations made after the deadline will be refunded 50% of the registration cost, less the Stripe processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two days of the workshop. However, full credit toward a future CABT workshop is available at any time. To request a cancellation, please email workshops@centerabt.com.

  • Our workshops are designed to provide comprehensive training on specialized treatments and disorders, so participants are expected to attend for the full duration, in a private space, with their camera on. CEU hours will only be awarded to those who complete the entire workshop.

    • Post-Training Consultation Groups are affiliated with the workshop cohort. Consultation group participation is not transferable to other groups hosted at later dates or affiliated with other training cohorts.

    • Registration for post-training consultation groups will open immediately following the completion of the training.

    • All training participants will have the opportunity to register for up to 4 post-training consultation groups.

    • Once registration for post-training consultation groups is closed, participation in these groups cannot to be rescheduled.

  • Yes. The purpose of our workshops is to provide comprehensive training on specialized treatment and disorders. Therefore, we expect participants to plan to attend for the full workshop duration. CEU hours are only supplied to participants who attend the whole workshop.
