Panic Attacks

I bring warmth, authenticity, and compassion to the therapy room because I believe real connection is the foundation for meaningful change. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy. Evidence-based simply means the strategies I use are backed by research and shown to be effective for many people. At the same time, I honor the uniqueness of each person I work with. I consider how someone’s unique biology, psychology, relationships, and culture all come together to shape their experiences. I strongly believe in shared decision making, working side-by-side with my clients to identify what matters most, explore options, and choose next steps as a team. I have a special interest in supporting individuals in the perinatal period who are navigating anxiety, OCD, the challenges of adjusting to pregnancy and new parenthood, pregnancy loss, and traumatic childbirth.

MY APPROACH

  • Pre-doctoral internship at the Coatesville VA Medical Center across multiple settings, including the Residential PTSD unit, Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program, outpatient Substance Use Disorder clinic, and Primary Care Mental Health Integration clinic

  • Two-year externship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Cognitive Therapy, with specialized training in Cognitive Therapy

  • Extensive training, consultation, and experience in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; on track for certification as a CPT provider upon licensure (expected 2026)

  • Specialized training and clinical experience in perinatal mental health through Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology

MY EXPERIENCE

I feel honored to be trusted with people’s stories, including their struggles, growth, and wins. I’m passionate about this work because I’ve seen how even small shifts in the way we think or act can lead to big changes. Whether it’s supporting kids and their families who feel stuck in cycles of worry that cause stress at home and school, or helping adults overcome the impact of traumatic experiences on their daily lives, it’s a privilege to support people in feeling more capable and confident.
