This video series offers insight into the causes, experience, and treatment of emetophobia, led by a psychologist specializing in recovery, Dr. David Yusko, and a former emetophobe, Dara Lovitz. This course is designed specifically for emetophobes (and/or their loved ones) who are out there struggling with emetophobia every day.
Emetophobia affects approximately 7% percent of women and 2% of men at some point in their life.
What is Emetophobia?
Emetophobia is an intense, persistent fear of vomiting or seeing others vomit, which can significantly impact daily life, eating habits, and social situations.

What You’ll Learn
PART 1: “WHY AM I LIKE THIS?”
This video, led by an expert and a recovered emetophobe, explores the medical, neurological, and psychological reasons a person develops emetophobia.
PART 2: “FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FROM PEOPLE WITH EMETOPHOBIA
This video reviews the most common questions from people suffering with emetophobia including “Can I get better?”, “Do I have to throw up to get better?”, and “How long does recovery take,” and more.
PART 3: “HOW DO I GET BETTER"?”
This video reviews the core components of treating emetophobia with ERP, including starting exposure work and addressing safety behaviors.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, and a lifetime of living with emetophobia, these experts specialize in delivering empirically supported treatments that effectively address the debilitating symptoms of emetophobia. Their interactive trainings equip participants to individually tailor apply evidence-based techniques to every patient in their practice - from the straightforward to the clinically complex presentations.
David Yusko, PsyD
Co-Founder of CABT and clinical psychologist with a doctorate from Rutgers University who specializes in emetophobia, OCD, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and working with athletes.
Dara Lovitz
Former emetophobe and co-auther of Gag Reflections.

This course is virtual via video series.

The cancellation deadline is two weeks prior to the workshop start date. Attendees who cancel before this deadline will receive a full refund, minus a processing fee determined by Stripe. Cancellations made after the deadline will be refunded 50% of the registration cost, less the Stripe processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two days of the workshop.
